Drinking From The Cup

Jesus suffered greatly through the way and on the cross , but he did it in perfect compensate for our sins. He is the perfected example of suffering. If the cup that was poured for the suffering for our Savior was good enough for him, why we would not believe we would not suffer also.

Luke 22:41 Jesus said “ Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Though this life we will have many trials and much suffering, he told us this in John 16:33, “in this world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Though today you may be suffering, you may have many troubles. I want to encourage you this morning in this reminder, one day soon there will be a great rejoicing and in that great rejoicing you will hear, well done my good and faithful servant. ( Mathew 15:13)

The glory that is coming soon will take away every memory of suffering you lived through upon this earth . Every tear will be wiped away. In Revelation 21:4 his word says, He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Today, take heart and be of courage, if you are in Christ, Jesus our great reward is with him and is in eternal life. He overcome the world to give us life in him and paid the penalty of death for our redemption and soon, very soon he is coming back and he will have his great reward with him.

Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.

Revelation 22:12

Take heart and be of good courage. He overcame it all and we ultimately will too if we have given our life to him.
